Just the way i wanted(:

Last post, i'm glad i'm finally getting this done. On Wednesday after golf practice i had an unexpected invite to play in the match against Lakeland. I said to Mr. Woodhall "are you sure you want me to" but it turns out picking me to play wasn't that bad after all. I shot a 64 for nine holes, which is not great, but for my first time playing in a match i think thats awesome! Out of the six girls playing for Kettering my score was the fourth best :) We played the front nine holes of our home course; Pontiac Country Club. During the beginning of the course i was doing the best, and as we progressed i was getting more and more frustrated. I'll start with a little play by play haha. #1: Par 5, i triple boogied (8) though that was the best out of my group. #2: Par 3, was a boogie for me but i had a really good chip onto the green. #3: Par 5, triple boogie again. #4: Par 4, this is where things started to go downhill, i got an 8 :/ #5: Par 4, a nine for me on this hole, i hate penilties :( #6: Par 4, not too bad on this one i triple boogied, better than four and five at least. #7 Par 4, i slipped up on this one and got a nine, way over. #8 Par 3, yay i boogied on this hole! and last but not least, #9: Par 4, for my last hole i got a seven. Over these past months i have seen such and improvement in my golf game. I am much more than satisfied with my progress. It's crazy to think that two months ago i couldn't even hit from the tee and now i pick up my driver and kill the ball! My project ended just the way i hoped it would, with me being able to play in a match before the first day of school, and playing well. This summer has shown me that anything is possible as long as you set you mind to it, even something as frustrating as golf. I finally have something to be proud of now and i so glad that i was able to take part in this experience. Now i hope i can keep this up for the season and next year as well :D
